Overview
Aquaterra belongs to the "CGS plus" family of products for Civil Engineering, which is ideal for projects that include road, rail and river/canal design. Aquaterra has been used in Germany, Austria, other Central European countries and elsewhere for projects ranging from small streams and torrents to major irrigation schemes with canals of several hundred kilometers in length.

A user-friendly interface enables a quick, efficient and detailed design while modular structure provides the possibility of team work optimization on complex projects, data exchange using database and compatibility with other CGS software for civil engineering such as Plateia and Ferrovia.
Flexible modularity
Aquaterra offers a selection of modules that fit most design purposes: Layout, Axes, Longitudinal sections and Cross-sections. Additionally, Aquaterra has interfaces that connect to three world-wide standard hydraulic simulation engines: HEC-RAS, MIKE 11 and MIKE 21.

Aquaterra has been successfully integrated into the workflow of companies of a very different size: from small engineering bureaus with only a few employees to the big and internationally renowned consultaning company Lahmeyer International, with several hundreds of employees and projects all over the world.
